For some reason I thought I actually looked pregnant in this picture, taken at 17 weeks. Little did I know.

Here I am now:

Here's Tig, Eli, and Lola (Lola is the puppy - she's a lot bigger now!). So far, they are showing some interest in the baby - Tig and Eli have discovered that hanging out under the crib is a great hiding place (I'm thankful they have yet to figure out that inside the crib would also be a great hiding place). Lola is scared to death of the baby stroller. We're curious what she's going to think when there is a real baby in the stroller.

The baby went to Mardi Gras, St. Louis 2006 with Corey, Scott, Amy, and I. Mardi Gras sober is a little like hanging out with kindergartners all day. Kindergartners who are showing their boobs and are fascinated with shiny beads and midgets signing KISS cover songs.

I wonder what I would look like if I attempted to wear this shirt right now?

We'll call when the baby arrives

And it hasn't arrived yet. Yes, we realize it's late. It's my child; what did you expect? Apparently, my uterus did not come equipped with a calendar and watch. So, to keep you occupied until the baby does show up, a few pictures of us pre-pregnancy and a few pictures of our pets, who have no idea what's about to hit them.
